Christmas really is the most wonderful time of year and I am so excited to share with you, my favorite Advent Devotionals for women.

Honestly, Christmas can bring all sorts of feelings to the forefront of our souls.  For some it truly is wonderful, however, for others, it can be agony. So the question becomes how can I experience the peace of God this season?  I believe that in order to do that we must not lose our focus.  Losing one’s focus means chaos is sure to ensue.  One of the ways I “Stress Less” at Christmas and prepare my heart is to make sure I am daily in the Word of God.  Christmas is the Birthday of Jesus Christ the very Son of God!  Focusing on this truth allows me to walk in peace.

I had not heard of this ancient practice until a few years ago when I received a gift from a friend, a book.  This very unique and special devotional book is called Christmastide: Prayers for Advent Through Epiphany from The Divine Hours.  I love the idea of joining in prayer with other believers around the world! We are all praying in our own time zones and thus covering every single hour that passes by in prayer.  We are changing the whole world for the better and we are transforming ourselves and our families!
