I have always thought I was a patient person.  It’s funny how our perceptions can be way off or more accurately partially true.  This is for me and you, here are 22 Bible Verses for the Impatient Person.

The truth is I am able to be patient in certain situations.  Dealing with children and people come especially easy to me.  Waiting for things I want or situations to change is quite another thing.  I have been making myself anxious because no matter how hard I try to change my current circumstances I can’t do it.  I have to be patient for God’s perfect timing.

I have been struggling to fully appreciate that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.  These characteristics cannot be achieved in and through our lives without asking the Holy Spirit to do the work.  We can not magically wake up one day and find ourselves the most patient of people.  Yes, we must desire the quality and yes, we must put prayerful, mindful, practices into place but ultimately it is the work of God in our hearts and minds that will accomplish the quality of patience in our lives.

I’ve put the following scriptures together to encourage the impatient person, myself included!
