From a very early age, I can remember making Valentines with my mother for friends and family.  Every year we would make something different and of course, we would sometimes purchase the cards.  If you are having one of those years where a premade card simplifies life then I am happy to share with you these 6 Charming FREE Vintage Valentines!

Valentine’s Day, also called Saint Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine depending on where you live, is celebrated annually on February 14. It originated as a Christian feast day honoring one or two early Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine. There are a number of martyrdom stories associated with the two Valentines connected to February 14, including a cherished account of the imprisonment of Saint Valentine of Rome for ministering to Christians persecuted under the Roman Empire, in the third century. These were daunting times for Christians. However, according to an early tradition, Saint Valentine restored sight to the blind daughter of his jailer.  I find that story very moving!
