Janelle Esker is the grateful wife of Michael and homeschooling mother of six amazing children. She lives with her family, 4 cats, 1 dog, 3 ducks and 12 chickens in scenic Ohio. Janelle received her B.A. in Education from Ohio Northern University. She is the author of CHOSEN: One Family's Journey with Autism.

  1. I challenge you to stop dyeing your hair! 😉

    And I make my own lotions and deodorants, as well as the toothpaste (and sanitary pads before I had a hysterectomy — not sure if I can get Faith to buy into that when the time comes).

    I also make foaming hand soap with 3 parts water to 1 part liquid castile soap. I put a couple drops of rubbing alcohol in to keep it from growing any bacteria that’s in the water. Just put in refillable foaming pump bottles.
